Mabel (Piper Curda) grew up sitting next to her Grandma (Karen Huie) at the local pond.
After Grandma died, Mabel, who is enrolled at the local college, lost track of the pond and it’s inhabitants.
But she still LOVES animals.
Unfortunately, the most important animal for life in the pond, the beavers, have left (of their own free will, or ???) and the pond is now a wasteland.
Taking advantage of that fact that the animals have left the pond, Mayor Jerry (Jon Hamm) has the state’s permission to build a superhighway right over the uninhabited pond.
Then came Mabel the animal lover and college scholar…..
Using a remote control robot (beaver) technology that her professor Dr. Sam (Kathy Najimy) has spent a lifetime developing, Mabel sets out to bring life back to the pond and…..

“Hoppers” is a fun Pixar movie that is rated PG for some violence and real-life circumstances that might scare little kids…or old men 🙂
