People / Companies WILL steal your ideas.
I have had it happen to me….more than once. In fact, Lori was jumping up and down yelling because she knows, first hand, the pain of stolen ideas. When you design something, from your own brain…you will understand.
If you are an engineering student, the single most important thing you need to be diligent about is: DOCUMENTATION. Document your every move, your every thought, from the instant you have an idea all the way through to implementation.
Tht’s what a good notebook (paper or electronic) is for and DATE everything with your initials.
