“X-Men: The Last Stand” Movie Review

(Exciting. The special effects are getting better!)

We have watched all three X-Men movies now.  Ready for the new one this Friday!

xmen last standIn “X-Men: The Last Stand” there is a “cure” for the mutants and we find out that Jean (Famke Janssen) is the most powerful mutant in the world, but, that Professor X (Patrick Stewart) had partitioned her brain to control her power.

Well, that control is gone and Jean, now, is Phoenix.

Magneto (Ian McKellen) recruits Phoenix and declares “war” with the non-mutant population who are hell bent on “curing” the mutants.  Magneto moves the Golden Gate bridge to span the water between SF and Alcatraz Island. Very impressive.  Hmmmm, I must have missed that the last time we went to SF.  🙂

Very exciting movie, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Storm (Halle Berry) team with four others to try to save the world and bring peace.

Rent it!  But do it quick…the new X-Men comes out Friday, June 3, 2011.

Drive Safe!  Never Forget.

  1. This movie that is coming out on Friday is a prequel just as X-men Origins:Wolverine was. Takes place before the first X-man film by about 25 years. The movie still looks good.

    1. Tom! Role playing games! Like the site! Yup….you know where we will be Friday! 🙂
