“Gravity” Movie Review

4.5 Watertowers ForCarol.com Movie Reviews College Scholarships(Mesmerizing)

“Gravity” is mesmerizing.  Spectacular special effects, and acting, bring the terror of being lost in space to life.

Sandra Bullock (as engineer Ryan Stone) is at her very best.  George Clooney (as Astronaut Matt Kowalski) is also excellent, but, there is no doubt…..this movie belongs to Bullock.

When debris from an accidental missile strike on a satellite dominos into an orbiting debris field at the same altitude as the space shuttle and the International Space Station.  Everyone who cannot escape in time…… dies.  Except Bullock and Clooney.  They are left on their own in an effort to survive

Can’t say much more than that.  This is extremely scary in that it can happen, and it shows you the kind of person that understands that and still goes into space.  The special effects are beyond spectacular.  Wow.

OK for the whole family, but, the younger kids might be traumatized by the events on screen.

Solid Earth never felt so good.
