An earthquake in Greece uncovers a long lost temple under the Mediterranean Sea.
Adventurer Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie), investigates and finds that within the ruins lies an orb (from Alexander the Great) that provides directions to the long lost, and much feared, Pandora’s Box.
Evil Nobel Prize winning scientist, Mance Rayder…..errrr, Jonathan Reiss (Ciaran Hinds) wants the diseases that might be in Pandora’s Box so he can control the world (after he designs and antidote for himself and selected others).
He will stop at nothing to get the orb and Pandora’s Box.
“Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life” is a fun adventure thriller much like the first movie. I loved it, but, it is not quite a good as “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider”. Again, for some reason, Lara needs male help (maybe because this is a 2003 movie?) this time in the form of the mercenary, Terry Sheridan (Gerard Butler).
She could do this alone, and her life would be so much easier.
We need a third movie! Angelina? Brad? Who’s the boss….oh, I know. Angelina!!! haha
