Jess (Scarlett Johansson) and Peter (Paul W. Downs) are about to get married. But, before they do, their friends want to throw them one last really great party.
The women (Jess, Alice (Jillian Bell), Blair (Zoe Kravitz), Frankie (Ilana Glazer), and Pippa (Kate McKinnon)) head down to Miami for a weekend of debauchery (sex, booze, drugs, parties), while the guys stay home for a boring weekend of wine tasting and intellectual discussions.
In Miami, after a wild first night of drinking, cocaine, and other assorted drugs, the women hire a male stripper to join the party in the glass house they are renting for the weekend. As the fun with the stripper is just beginning, Alice jumps on him…..and kills him.
Not wanting to call the police (drugs…..remember?) they decide to get rid of the body and clean up the house.
Needless to say, their attempts at body disposal fail. And as they sit in the glass house wondering what to do next…..the police show up at their door. WTF
To see what happens next (it is not what you think)….you will just have to watch the movie. 😉
“Rough Night” is a fun, sometimes hilarious, night of craziness…..with a twist. Not for kids for obvious reasons seen in the red band trailer above. Stay all the way thru the credits, you will not be disappointed.
Oh…..One scene in the airport when one of the friends pops a champagne bottle and everyone in the airport drops to the ground is both unexpected and laugh-out-loud funny.
