George Hardy (Hugh Jackman) loves his sheep.
He feeds them, talks to them, he makes sure they all have names and have a nice place to sleep, he protects them, cleans them, and gives them medicine when they need it.
And…..in the evening…..he reads to them: Mysteries, thrillers, who-dun-it’s, detective novels, etc.
He knows they are sheep and do not understand even though they seem to be listening intently.
Then…..the un-imaginable happens and…..
