Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) is starting Middle School and is just a tiny bit stressed about it and his older brother is not helping his stress level. 😉
Greg’s best friend, Rowley Jefferson (Robert Capron), seems to be unaffected by the transition and is the same goofy Rowley he always was.
Problem is….Rowley is now embarrassing Greg.
Poor Greg.
As Greg tries harder and harder to be popular…..Rowley goofs around being himself……and….he becomes the popular one!
Greg is jealous, and he and Rowley fight and break-up….then…..
Oh, to see what happens you can either read the book, or stream the movie on Disney+.
“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” is a fun book about two kids starting out in a new and strange world of hormones, growth spurts, bodily functions, and a piece of cheese that has the ability to ruin lives. Note: I was subbing in 7th grade when the book came out…..and the kids all LOVED it. 🙂
