Ann Stanway (Danielle C. Ryan) is a chef / caterer turned reality star in Los Angeles.
In addition to “loving” her castmate in the show, she also “loves” him in real-life.
Until……
He and his mom dump her off the show because her character is boring and rating are going down.
Pissed and hurt, Ann decides to run off to a place where no one knows her…..
Driving her friends car to Scranton, PA she has an accident in Cave City, Kentucky and must stay there until the car is fixed.
Luckily she meets Sarah (Galadriel Stineman) who invites her to stay at her inn…..an Amish Inn.
Sarah lost her husband a few months ago and the Inn is struggling. On top of that, Sarah, is not a good cook…her husband was the chef.
Luckily, Ann, who is loving the peace and quiet, offers to teach Sarah how to cook and help her advertise the Inn.
Ann gets even luckier when architect Hunter Banning (Trevor Donovan) shows up to help Sarah with some chores…..

“Runaway Romance” is a brainless fun rom-com very similar to a Hallmark movie except they kiss before the ending! the audience needs to overlook some timeline shortcuts (like Hunter must have apparated, think Harry Potter, to LA at the end) but other than that it is a lot of fun.
