Samantha Abbott (Cobie Smulders) is a high school science teacher. She and and her boyfriend John (Anders Holm) are living together and have charted a nice slow course for the rest of their lives.
Unexpectedly, Samantha’s school is closing at the end of the school year and Samantha is looking for her dream job at a local museum where she will get a chance to drive the science curriculum for the city.
Unexpectedly, Samantha is pregnant. The baby is due at the end of July.
Unexpectedly, John and Samathana get married.
Unexpectedly, Samantha’s best student, Jasmine (Gail Bean), is also pregnant and is due in August.
Unexpectedly, Samantha and Jasmine become friends helping each other through their pregnancies and Jasmine applying to, and visiting, colleges.
