Gaby (Chelsea Peretti) is turning 39 today…..and she has just been dumped by her boyfriend who was so anxious to get away, that he left HIS apartment to her!

Not really in the mood to celebrate her birthday, Gaby heads off to her best friend Amanda’s (Susan Kent) house where they briefly celebrate, and talk.
Now free: Gaby adopts a dog (Trudy), agrees to watch her brother’s daughter, Adele (Nadia Tonen), once a week, and decides to finally open her own restaurant (she is a private caterer now).
Adele and Gaby have a great time together (Gaby teaches Adele how to knit) while Gaby goes on dates to find that “special” guy.
Then, one day on a hike with Trudy……

“Spinster” is a very quiet movie that you would think would be boring…but it is not! It IS an interesting, sometimes funny, look at life and all it has to offer….as long as you are ready to accept it’s challenges, and yourself. Deep! 😉
