Professor Louis Reed (Mark Ruffalo) has developed a technology that will, theoretically, open a worm hole in space to, hopefully, allow time travel thru that worm hole.

Louis’s son, Adam (Walker Scobell), is 12 years old and is driving his widowed mother, Ellie (Jennifer Garner), crazy.

Adam is a wisecracking big mouth who is small for his age and is constantly getting beat up by the school bullies. The girls don’t pay any attention to him.

Adam (Ryan Reynolds) has been shot while stealing a space ship. His goal is to travel back in time to find his wife, and fellow aviator, Laura (Zoe Saldana), who was lost while time traveling back to 2018.

Adam is a wisecracking big mouth adult who is ripped and can definitely hold his own in a fight. And he got laid in college…a lot.

Adam crash lands in the woods behind the house that he grew up in.
