Since he unlocked the multiverse in Spider-Man, Doctor Strange has been having a strange dream.
In this dream, he and some unknown young woman are trying to reach a book, but they cannot beat the monster protecting that book, and….
Strange dies.
Then he wakes up!! Whew…..it was just a dream.
Or was it?
One morning, Strange is attending Dr. Christine Palmer’s (Rachel McAdams) wedding (yeah too bad….you lost her) when he hears a commotion outside.
Running to help, Strange sees a monster attacking……the young woman from his dreams!
WTF?
Saving her from the monster, Strange learns that her name is America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) and she has the power to jump between universes, even though she has no idea how she does it.

Needing some multiverse advice, Strange visits Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) at her apple orchard and asks for her help, then….
A multiverse of shit hits the fan, and…..
Oh, to find out what happens you can watch the move on Disney+ in IMAX Enhanced. Just like being at the movies, without the dirty bathrooms. 😉
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” is exactly what the title says…”madness”. A confusing action-packed trip thru the multiverse that Strange unleashed in Spider-Man and in witch (sic) he must now battle the most powerful superhero (villian?) in all of these alternate universes.
Along the way Strange, Wong (Benedict Wong), Wanda / Scarlett Witch, and America meet up with alternate versions of: Professor X (Picard), Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), Captain Marvel (Lashan Lynch), and others…..the MCU is expanding beyond the linear, and it is messy as hell.
Hint: Watch “Wandavision” and “What if..” on Disney+ before watching this movie……
And…..never underestimate the power of a mothers love…..
