Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) has spent her life in Africa where her parents were doing research.
She was home-schooled.
Now, the family situation has changed and Cady finds herself going to a public high school……and the transition is……interesting (to put it mildly).
Not yet knowing about the politics of school, Cady meets, and becomes friends with Janis Ian (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese) who–sort of–teach Cady the ropes.
One of the groups that Cady learns about is “The Plastics”: Three girls who are, well, kinda mean. Their leader, Regina George (Rachel McAdams) is the meanest while Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert) and Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried) are just hanging on to Regina.
One day, Regina notices Cady, which prompts Janis to come up with a devious plan……then……

“Mean Girls” is a classic. It is laugh-out-loud funny yet touching as Cady learns about life in the mean world. The cast is tremendous and look at where they all are now! Wow.
Oh, Lori wants me to let you know that Jonathan Bennett is in it…..I have no idea why….must be the Food Network or Hallmark (hi, Lacey!). 😉
