(Telepathic Telepresence)

Note: This movie comes close to my technical specialty: video conferencing. Imagine, sometime in the future, being able to video conference (think, Skype) with anyone, anytime, anyplace just like they do here in the movie. And just using your brain and senses (sight, smell, hearing, touch)…..no equipment! Very cool.
Dylan (Michael Stahl-David) is sitting in class as a young boy in New Mexico. Suddenly, he sees himself going downhill on a sled. He sees the trees up ahead and is knocked out (falling off his chair in class) when the sled hits a tree. At the very same instant, Rebecca (Zoe Kazan) who was on the sled (in New Hampshire) is also knocked out. Weird.
Many years pass and even though both have experienced unexplained circumstances in their lives, they both blew them off as their own weird issues. One day, Rebecca is shopping and sees a truck coming at her. She freaks out in the store (which looks like she is totally crazy) but, Dylan raises his head just in time to avoid a collision.
They realize they can talk to each other! Weird.
“In Your Eyes” is a totally unique movie dealing with the ability of Rebecca and Dylan to communicate completely with each other (see, hear, feel, and smell) even though they are thousands of miles apart.
They become friends, then they become more.
Interesting movie.
Go to IMDb for more information. We watched this on Netflix. Thanks, Ryan!
