Aladdin (Mena Massoud) is a “street rat” stealing from the citizens and vendors of Agrabah with his pet monkey, Abu.
One day a mysterious young woman gets in trouble by giving bread to two starving “street rats”. Aladdin, with slight of hand, rescues her and leads her on an adventure she never thought she would enjoy.
It turns out that this young woman is none other than Princess Jasmine (Naomi Scott) and she falls head over heels for the street thief, Aladdin.
But, alas, she can only wed a Prince, so her heart is broken.
Second in command to the Sultan, Jafar (Marwan Kenzari), wants to be Sultan and will stop at nothing to get there, including finding a magic lamp hidden in the Cave of Wonders. But only one person can enter the cave……the person who is “the diamond in the rough”.
And guess who that is? Yup, Aladdin.
Jafar kidnaps Aladdin and forces him to steal the lamp and bring it to him. Aladdin gets the lamp, but, he and Abu keep it for themselves (at least for awhile).
Upon grabbing the lamp, Aladdin rubs it and out pops Genie (Will Smith) and that is when,,,,,the real FUN begins.
“Aladdin” is fantastic fun! I felt like I was 41 again. The songs, the acting, the plot, the dancing, the pure joy of a Disney classic (from 1992) brought to life. “Aladdin” is two hours of escape from today’s hateful maga reality…..back to a time when you were young and innocent. Ah, to be 41 again. 😉
The critics can go pound sand, as this is a fantastic movie, and, Will Smith is PERFECT as Genie.

Must see. 🙂
Drive Safe! Never Forget.
