Rosie Dunne (Lily Collins) and Alex Stewart (Sam Clafin) have been best of friends since they were little kids.
As they got older, Rosie always encouraged Alex to meet new people (mostly women) and to pursue his dreams. Alex listened to Rosie.

Alex and Rosie planned to go to college in Boston, he to Harvard (his dream to become a Doctor) and she to Boston College (her dream to own a hotel).
They were both accepted and it seemed like their fairy tale life would continue.
Oooops…..
Rosie had a one night stand with Greg and, accidentally, got pregnant. Not one to get an abortion, Rosie stayed in the UK to raise Katie (Rosa Mallot and Lily Laight) while still supporting Alex in his dream.
In addition to his schooling…..Alex met several women and married two of them. All with the support of his best friend.
But…..something was not right. Although he feigned happiness, and Rosie feigned the same happiness……they were not truly happy unless they were together.
To see what happens, you will have to watch the movie.
“Love, Rosie” is an excellent movie about friendship, love, and life. Lily Collins and Sam Claflin are great together and the story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming.
