Christmas Flint (Mckenna Grace) LOVES science! She also loves looking at the stars at night and thinking about her mom being among the stars, meteors, and other celestial bodies.
She suspects she is part alien.
One day while escaping from the mean girls of Birdies Troop 5 she overhears that a man from NASA will be in town recording voices for a Golden Record to be sent into space on the Voyager spacecraft!
Christmas is out of this world excited! So much so, that she decides to start her own Birdie Troop to compete in the jubilee contest to be on that Golden Record.
The only troop number available to her, and reluctant Troop Mother, Miss Rayleen (Viola Davis), is Birdie Troop Zero.
She is happy to be Troop Zero and happily recruits an oddball team of kids to join her.
