1000 years ago the demigod, Maui (The Rock), stole the heart of Te Fiti and cursed the lands.
The curse has finally reached the Island where Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) was born and will one day rule.
But I get ahead of myself……
Growing up, Moana finds herself being called to the sea. She wants to leave the tiny island, but, her father, Chief Tui (Temuera Morrison), tells her that she cannot venture outside the reef.
It is very dangerous beyond the reef….he knows from experience.
What he does not know is that the sea considers Moana a friend and is protecting her from harm.
When the curse reaches her island, Moana has no choice but to leave so she can find Maui to try to get him to give the heart back to Te Fiti, so the curse can be lifted.
The fate of her Island, and all the lands surrounding it, are in her hands. Does she succeed?

“Moana” is a beautiful movie for kids and adults alike. The computer graphics is amazing and the story is timeless. A pure wonder.
