“The Peanut Butter Falcon” Movie Review and Trailer

Tyler (Shia LeBeouf) was caught stealing crab pots, lost his job, and the person he was stealing from beat the crap out of him. Tyler then set fire to the guys gear and dock. The chase is on to kill Tyler!

Not a good day for Tyler.

Zak (Zack Gottsagen) working with the help of a fellow Old Folks Home resident ran out the front door on his way to freedom. He was promptly tackled by an employee and put back in his room where metal bars were installed on the window. Zak wonders why he is in an old folks home and his caretaker is forced to make him a “flight risk”. Thus the bars…..

Not a good day for Zak.

The next day……

Eleanor (Dakota Johnson), Zak’s caretaker, discovers that Zak had slipped though the bent bars (thanks to Zak’s 84 year old roommate) and her boss wants to talk to her.

Not a good day for Eleanor.

Somewhere in / on the Outer Banks of North Carolina…

Zak, clad only in his tighty-whiteys, is on his way to learn wrestling from his hero Salt Water Redneck (Thomas Haden Church) when he runs into Tyler, and, surprisingly, the two strike up a friendship.

But, danger looms, and….

Oh, to see what happens, you will have to stream the movie on Fandango NOW.

“The Peanut Butter Falcon” is a terrific movie about acceptance and friendship. The cast is perfect and a big welcome back to Shia!
