JJ (Dave Bautista) is a CIA agent on a mission in the Ukraine. He is there to infiltrate a gang of bad guys and to recover two vials of plutonium, and the plans for a nuclear bomb.
After he killed almost every one of the bad guys….he got one of the vials, but not the other, or the plans for the bomb.
Ooops…..
His boss, David Kim (Ken Jeong) was not happy and on the next mission, to find the missing USB drive with the bomb plans….JJ was paired with the group’s techy geek, Bobbi (Kristen Schaal) to watch the ex-wife, Kate (Parisa Fitz-Henley), of the head bad guys brother (who the bad guy offed a few months ago), and her daughter, Sophie (Chloe Coleman).
The object of the surveillance is to, hopefully, find out where the plans for the bomb are hidden.
Unfortunately, Sophie is REALLY smart, and figures out that her and her mom are being watched…..and then she finds the two CIA agents, JJ and Bobbi, in a room down the hall…and captures their operation on video!
Ooops……
All hell breaks loose as……

“My Spy” is a fun thriller with intrigue, spies, killing, and murder….doubling as a romcom. How cool is that? Dave Bautista, Chloe Coleman, Parisa Fitz-Henley, and Kristen Schaal, are terrific.
