Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) grew up wanting to own her own restaurant in honor of her hardworking, loving, dad.
A waitress, saving every spare penny for a down payment of a building she would fix up as the restaurant, Tiana ignored the naysayers and followed her dad’s advice that through hard work, she can do anything.
One day, Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos) arrived in town. Tiana’s friend, Charlotte La Bouff (Jennifer Cody), wants to meet him….Tiana not so much.
Well……as we find out, Prince Naveen is broke and he is looking to marry rich. He hooks up with the evil Dr. Facilier (Keith David) who makes the Prince’s butler the Prince, and Prince Naveen….a frog!
Dressed up for a costume party, as a Princess, a talking frog convinces Tiana to kiss him then he will be a handsome Prince again.

“The Princess and the Frog” is a fun movie with two morals: 1. Work hard and you can achieve anything you want. and 2. Only a real Princess can kiss a frog and hope to turn him into a human again. 🙂
