Cinderella (Camila Cabello) designs dresses and hopes one day to open a store (“Ella’s) to continue designing and selling her creations.
Problem is: Vivian (Idina Menzel) and the idea that women can’t do anything in this kingdom are stopping her.

Prince Robert (Nicholas Galitzine) is looking for someone to marry. Not having any luck….his father, King Rowan (Pierce Brosnan), decides that they need to put on a ball……and invite all the women in town and beyond.
Vivan and her two daughters, Malvolia (Maddie Baillio) and Narissa (Charlote Spencer), are all going but will not allow Cinderella to go.
Well the heck with them….as the Fabulous Godmother (Billy Porter) shows up and…..

“Cinderella” is a modern day remake of the classic story where Cinderella is not going to be denied her goals in life just because she is a woman. You go, Ella! The movie is, at first, kind of, well, crummy….then the MUSIC and dancing kick in and with rousing songs sung by the amazing Idina Menzel, Camila, Billy Porter and Nicholas….. and the dancing…..WOW! I love musicals and this not so great movie moves up several notches with the music and dancing.
Billy and Idina are mesmerizing……and this “band” is killer! I loved it every time they came on….and that baritone sax (yes…I played the sax…all of them…in my younger days) is to die for! 🙂
