Movie Review: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”

An elderly man in a small town in Oklahoma is known to everyone as the Dirt Man. They think he is strange and weird. But what they don’t know is that that old man is in town to…….

A single mom, Callie (Carrie Coon), is finding it difficult to pay her rent and support her two kids, Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (Mckenna Grace).

With no other options, Callie decides to move her family to a small town in Oklahoma where she inherited land and a house from her father who recently passed away.

Arriving in the small town, the family finds strange things going on!

Phoebe finds a portable detector of some sorts, and starts playing chess…

With a ghost!

Once a day, the town shakes as if being struck with an earthquake, but, according to high school teacher (and seismologist), Grooberson (Paul Rudd), the signature of the shaking is the exact opposite of an eathquake’s signature.

Grooberson and Callie

Something really weird is happening but……..who you gonna call?

Oh, to find out….. you can watch this movie on Google Play for $5.99. 🙂

“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” is a fun, action packed, sequel (37 or so years later) of the original Ghostbusters. Great fun for the entire family, if, maybe, a bit violent and scary for the little ones.
