Getting ready for her senior prom, tech whiz (she has been accepted to MIT), Monica (Laura Marano), has been posting hair styles, clothing, and shoes on her web site…..while gathering votes on each.
Last night she finished her most popular hair style and went to sleep.
Awakened the next morning by a video call (you’re welcome) from her best friend, Sierra (Kiana Madeira)……who screams!
Yup…..it is definitely a bad hair day on prom day for Monica.
And not only that…..a bad dress day, and bad shoes day, and today at 2 PM she has her drivers license test!
At least she still has that necklace she bought at the pawn shop to wear.
Whew!
And then….the doorbell rings and ex-detective Liz (Leigh-Allyn Baker) is at the door looking for a stolen necklace worth millions…..but she is not the only one….jewel thief, Pierce (Christian Campbell) is also trying to find the necklace he mistakenly gave to a stranger who promptly pawned it.
What follows is a chase to end all chases!
Does Monica make it to prom? Does she get her hair fixed? Does Liz arrest the thief?

“Bad Hair Day” is a hilarious coming of age comedy with a great cast! Super funny, fast moving action, with a truly heartwarming ending.
A Disney Channel original movie so it is fun for the whole family. 🙂
