Tulio (Rodrigo Santoro) and Linda (Leslie Mann) travelled to the Amazon jungle to release a bird in it’s native habitat.
While there, they spot a blue bird and pick up a feather.
Tasting it, Tulio determines it is a blue macaw!
How can that be?
They are nearly extinct.
Meanwhile back at home, Blu (Jesse Eisenberg), Jewel (Anne Hathaway) and the kids are watching TV when the news report of more blue macaws being found in the Amazon….by Tulio and Linda!

“Rio 2” is a fun sequel with lots of action as the birds try to save the Amazon jungle from loggers and heartwarming moments when Jewel re-unites with her long lost family. Great family fun!
