Stacy Friedman (Sunny Sandler) and Lydia Rodriguez Katz (Samantha Lorraine) have been best friends since they were little kids.
They have been looking forward to their Bat Mitzvah’s for just as long.
This is the year they both turn 13 and Stacy is going to put together Lydia’s Bat Mitzvah video.
They both decided that Lydia’s Bat Mitzvah is going to be epic!
As is Stacy’s later in the year.
Then a boy, Andy (Dylan Hoffman), ruins everything and……..

“You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah” is a fun, sometimes very funny, heartwarming, cringe worthy, coming of age movie that is WAY too familiar for us (Carol and Kristen) and, probably, for you too if you have similar aged kids.
And hey…..this is an Adam Sandler movie where Adam plays a secondary role as the slightly (completely!) baffled Dad.
If you read this blog, you know how much we love Adam Sandler, and, no, Rob Schneider is still not in it. 😦
