Shelly Evans (Joey King) and Lee Flynn (Joel Courtney) were born to two different families at exactly the same time.
Since that day, Shelly and Lee were the best of friends doing everything together and supporting each other through the good times, and sad times.
As juniors in high school, they were still the very best of friends, but, changes were happening.

Lee discovers he like girls, and Shelly discovers she likes…..well…..hmmmm…..Lee’s brother, Noah (Jacob Elordi).
Problem is, when Shelly and Lee were 6 years old they made a list of rules: #9 on that list is stay away from Noah!
Oooopps……
Then Shelly and Lee decided to do a kissing booth at a charity event for the Dance Club….and…..well…..
Oh shit…..
To see what happens, you can stream this movie on Netflix. Part 2 is coming in July 2020.
“The Kissing Booth” is a fun, coming of age movie / teenage romcom. Plenty of laughs, some sad times, and some hard decisions that are part of growing up and living. But….overall….this is a great summer kick-back movie to enjoy while the world that orange built crumbles around us.
