Movie Review: “Clifford the Big Red Dog”

A family of yellow labs, mom and 3 yellow pups and a red pup, were living in an abandoned warehouse when animal control came and took them to the shelter.

Except for the red puppy who was hidden under some rubbish.

The red puppy found it’s way to Central Park and a magical man named Bridwell (John Cleese) who took him in with the intentions of giving him away to a worthy owner.

While her mother was away on business, 6th grader, Emily (Darby Camp), is being taken care of by her, less than stellar, Uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall).

As they were walking to school the next day, Emily spotted the animal adoption tent in Central Park and dragged Casey there to look at the animals, and, as it so happens to meet the magical Bridwell and his new red puppy.

Casey refused to let Emily have the red puppy, but, after school Emily was in her room and…..in her backpack…..magically…..was the tiny red puppy!

Emily fell in love!

Keeping the pup overnight, Emily was shocked to wake up to the REALLY BIG dog that she had named, Clifford!

Emily, Clifford, Casey

Then……
