Lily Cotton (Kaitlyn Dever) and her best friend, Wren (Billie Lourd) have just graduated from college and have a trip planned to Bali.
Lily wants (claims) to be a lawyer, but, she is clueless as to how much more schooling, and exams, are involved, but, so be it. Movie magic makes her a lawyer. 😉
After a quick visit to Lily’s parents, David (George Clooney) and Georgia (Julia Roberts), so we the audience, and Wren, can see just how dysfunctional they are, and why they are no longer married.
Lily and Wren head off to paradise!
There…..Lily meets seaweed farmer, Gede (Maxime Bouttier), and it is love at first sight!
Before you know it…..they are going to get married and David and Georgia are “lockstep” going to try and stop it.
Then the fun begins! 🙂

“Ticket to Paradise” is a fun romcom with a somewhat famous cast. 😉 Think Hallmark with (bite?, twist?), hmmmm, actually no…. it’s exactly like Hallmark (and we love it!). We think the cast had a blast filming this and had a sweet paid vacation to Queensland, Australia where it was filmed to boot.
