
20 years ago, Debbie Dunn (Reese Witherspoon) and Peter Coleman (Ashton Kutcher) hooked up for one night.
Then Peter said good-bye, but, they stayed friends.
Now, Debbie lives in Los Angeles and is on the verge of getting her accounting degree. She has only a few more courses to take that she can complete quickly in New York City.
On the bright side, Peter lives in NYC and she can stay with him……on the not so bright side, Debbie is concerned about leaving her teenage son, Jack (Wesley Kimmel) who is allergic to many foods, with a sitter.

“Your Place or Mine” starts out really slow as we get to know the characters….like when reading a book……but it picks up steam and is ultimately a sweet love story about family, friends, love, and pursuing your passion in life.
Speaking of books and passion, the movie blends Reese’s real life passion for books in a way that I (as TracyReaderDad.com) can deeply relate to, since I love books, and movies about books, and books about books, and books about spies, killing, and murder, and just……books. 🙂
