The Travel Agency that Amanda Riley (Rachael Leigh Cook) works for is losing business on travel to Vietnam since they do not have a presence there.
Amanda’s boss wants to send her to Vietnam to check out a small tour company that she has learned is being sold, and to decide if they want to bid on that company, or not.
Since Amanda is now free of her loser boyfriend, she gladly accepts the trip to Vietnam with the hopes of, at least, getting her life back together and maybe even have some fun.
Tour Guide Sinh Thach (Scott Ly) and his cousin Ahn (Thanh Truc) make a dynamic tour guide duo and show their guests the best time ever! Not by visiting the typical tourist traps, but, by showing their guests what the locals love, and teaching them how to appreciate…..life.
During this tour…..Sinh makes sure one guest in particular has a great time. 😉

“A Tourist’s Guide to Love” is a Netflix romcom, but, if you did not know that you’d swear it was a Hallmark movie…..right down to the twist in the last 15 minutes and the ending kiss (and the loser boyfriend leaving the woman, etc etc).
That said….I rarely do a movie review of “Hallmark” movie, but, this one was a very good, with spectacular scenery in Vietnam…..and, Carol was Vietnamese. 😦
