After his latest death, Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) is made to realize that, hmmmmm, he is down to one last life, and that it may be time to preserve that life….

Ending up in Mama Luna’s (Da’Vine Joy Randolph) house with a zillion other cats, Puss decides to take Goldilocks’s (Florence Pugh) advice to search for the star in the dark woods that will grant him his last wish:
To get all his lives back.
The adventure begins when Puss is joined by Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) and Perrito (Harvey Guillen)……

“Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” is a decent animated movie for the entire family. Not nearly as good as “Turning Red” (the only other animated movie we saw that was up for an Oscar in 2023) but an exciting adventure for kids and adults nonetheless.
