  • “Morning Glory” Movie Review

“Morning Glory” Movie Review Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton and Patrick Wilson all rock in “Morning Glory”.  We wanted to see this in the movies, but, did not, so we watched it on VUDU. McAdams was expecting a promotion at her job, but when she went in to meet with the boss he laid…

  • “Red Riding Hood” Movie Review

“Red Riding Hood” Movie Review Amanda Seyfried and Gary Oldman star in this dark, brooding, movie about a werewolf taking it’s revenge after lying low for 20 years.  This werewolf is extremely powerful thanks to generations of inbreeding and with the Red Moon coming up, the next in the long line of werewolfs is about…

“love & other drugs” Movie Review

Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway have major chemistry in this love story based in 1996 (so the technology shown is interestingly dated). Jake is a med school dropout with a great personality for selling….and attracting women (and having sex with them anywhere, anytime….geeez, they even page him).  After losing his job at an electronics store…

    “Drive Angry” Movie Review

If you like lots of action, gore, sex, more gore, more naked women and vintage cars (the kind I grew up with and watched Tommy fix)….and Nicolas Cage…you will love “Drive Angry”. The opening scene sets the stage as Cage blows off the hand of a man holding a crowbar, and both the hand and…

  • “The Lookout” Movie Review

“The Lookout” Movie Review Joseph Gordon-Levitt (for those who remember the TV series “Third Rock From the Sun”, he was the long haired little kid) is one heck of a great actor.  Likewise, Jeff Daniels. In this movie he plays a brain damaged individual working at night at the local Bank. Hoodlums take advantage of…

  • “Unknown” Movie Review

“Unknown” Movie Review I was a bit hesitant to go see this movie, but, Lori wanted to go.  So I went. Sure glad I did. Liam Neeson is awesome. “Unknown” is awesome. After an accident, Martin Harris spends 4 days in the hospital.  Upon awakening, he realizes that his wife did not come to find…
