With all the movies coming out in Dec 2019, we never got the chance to see “Last Christmas”. In Feb 2020 we finally rented it on Fandango Now.
Gotta keep this short to avoid spoilers.
Kate (Emilia Clarke) works in a year-round Christmas Shop. Her boss, Santa (Michelle Yeoh), has seen a difference in Kate since her illness and is, accordingly, very tolerant of Kate’s mistakes and personality changes.
One day, Kate sees a man looking up at a bird outside the shop. She joins him and finds out that his name is Tom (Henry Golding) and guess what else?
She kinda likes him!
The only problem is….Tom disappears for days at time and is not interested in intimacy. WTF?
Well…….oh, to find out what happens, you will have to watch the movie.
“Last Christmas” is an ok movie. It takes a very long, sometimes boring, time getting to the twist at the end, then it earns a few extra watertower halves.
Quite the surprise! She jumps on a horse with plump castrated men behind her, and dragons!…..NOT. 🙂
