Movie Review: “Falling for Christmas”

Sierra Belmont (Lindsay Lohan) has just been given a new job by her hotel mogul father, Beauregard (Jack Wagner).

Everyone, including Sierra, knows she is not qualified for the job, and in fact, Sierra does NOTHING as a spoiled heiress: Her every whim is handled by a gaggle of helpers.

Sierra is dating spoiled rich kid, Tad Fairchild (George Young), and their relationship is about to step-up to the next level.

Meanwhile….

Jake Russell (Chord Overstreet) is a single father to Avy (Olivia Perez). After his wife passed two years ago, he inherited her family’s small resort / bed and breakfast in the mountains.

Competing with the big fancy resorts is a tough job, and, as such…..

Jake’s resort may be seeing it’s last Christmas.

One day, Avy and her grandmother pay a visit to Santa where Avy makes a wish…..and….

“Falling for Christmas” is a fun, and sometimes very funny, romcom with lots of heartfelt Christmas cheer and some homages to real people and circumstances. Think Hallmark with a bit of a bite. In fact, Hallmark is well represented by Jack Wagner himself. 🙂
