Mara (Sarah Hyland) finds fault with everyone she goes on a date with….then dumps him.
One night, Sarah was hungry, so she swiped right on a chef, Jake (Tyler James Williams).
A pancake dinner became a pancake breakfast and Mara and Jake became an item!
Mara’s best friend, Alex (Matt Shively), asks her what Jake’s faults were and, surprise, surprise, Mara could not answer!
Is it love?
That year, Mara and Jake got 15 wedding invitations, but, since she was working in a dress shop, and he in a diner, cost was a factor and they narrowed the wedding list to 7….including his brother and her sister.
Which means they both get to meet each others families!

“The Wedding Year” is a fun, somewhat raunchy (R-rated), romcom with a few twists and turns that make you wonder if everything is going to work out for the best. Not for kids.
