“Fatherhood” Movie Review

Matt Logelin (Kevin Hart) lost his wife the day after Maddy (Melody Hurd) was born.

A single dad with no clue on how to raise and care for an infant, Matt relied on his friends, Jordan (Lil Rel Howery) and Oscar (Anthony Carrigan) to help him, if with nothing else, moral support.

Matt, Oscar, Jordan

His mother and mother-in-law want Matt to let them take Maddy to Minnesota with them so she will grow up near family, but, Matt decides to raise her on his own (in Boston where his job is located…and friends).

Despite what everyone thinks, Matt learns to care for an infant, and then a little girl, and he does a wonderful job……

Until……

Oh, to see what happens, you will have to watch this movie on Netflix. 🙂

“Fatherhood” is based on a true story. It is a 4 Kleenex box tearjerker that is sad, scary, but, ultimately, heartwarming. A fantastic cast lead by Kevin Hart who, in a serious role, should be nominated for an Oscar.
