80 year old Tova (Sally Field) works the night shift at the local aquarium where she befriends the Octopus they named Marcellus (voiced by Alfred Molina).
Tova is alone as she lost her husband and son many years ago.
Living in the house her husband built, she is now “ready” to move to an old folks home in another town. Her son’s room is untouched since the day he died and will need to be cleaned before she sells the house. A tough job for his mother….
Driving the van his drug addict mother left him, Cameron (Lewis Pullman), is in town to find his long lost father, Simon Brinks (Chris William Martin). Unfortunately Brinks makes himself hard to find….by anyone.

“Remarkably Bright Creatures” is an interesting, low key, movie about…well….life. Stay to the very end to find out who the remarkably bright creatures are…and the shocking twist. The cast is tremendous.
