Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum) is ex-military who at one time worked at McDonalds.
Being an ex-employee he learned how McDonalds employees did their work, kept the money, and he learned the weaknesses of the building itself.
Entering thru the roof, Jeffrey robbed multiple McDonalds and was arrested.
Everyone who was robbed told the police how nice and considerate he was.
Nonetheless…..it’s jail for you Jeffrey.
Until he escaped.
And hid in a Toys R Us.
Then Jeffrey’s life changed, and….

“Roofman” is based on a true story and is an interestingly complex look at a brilliant man making wrong choices. Tatum gives the performance of a lifetime and it is nice to see a dry, upright, Kirsten Dunst, who also shines. 🙂
