“Adrift” Movie Review

Tami Oldham (Shailene Woodley) is seeing the world, working when she can, doing whatever with no plans for life and no destination in mind.

She is living the good life as a 23 year old in 1983.

Ending up in Tahiti, Tami meets Richard Sharp (Sam Claflin) and the two fall in love!

A Hallmark movie……NOT.

One day an old friend of Richard’s asks if he wanted to make some money and sail their boat to San Diego since they had to get back quickly.

Richard agrees as long as Tami can come along.

Tami, Richard

And off they go on the adventure of a lifetime, sailing the high seas with not a care in the world……

Except for a Category 4 hurricane bearing down on them!

Yikes.

They try to outrun the hurricane, but…….

Oh, to see what happens you will have to watch the movie on Netflix.

“Adrift” is an exciting, scary, movie based on a true story. Just when you think you have it all figured out…..a shocking twist knocks you for a loop. Great cast!

Drive Safe! Never Forget

More adventures….
