Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) was going to school to become a lawyer.
One day, while he was at a party and standing behind the bar because he felt uncomfortable, Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) comes up to the bar and asks for a drink.
What the heck, Maurizio, made her a drink and, some time later, the two were married!
Not wanting anything to do with Gucci the business, Maurizio was happy taking a back seat while the rest of the Gucci family fought it out for ultimate power.
Uncle Aldo (Al Pacino) was based in New York and claims to have built Gucci into what is was, Rodolfo (Scar…..errr, Jeremy Irons) was getting old and needed to hand off Gucci to a worthy successor, and Paolo (Jared Leto) was a disgrace.
Patrizia was the only one with smarts and balls enough to do some fighting for Gucci, and she, eventually convinced Maurizio to take a more active role.
Problem is….he turned into an ass….and…..

“House of Gucci” is an excellent movie that moved along without any boring spots. It was interesting see how everything unfolded and who was involved. Truly surprising.
