Young Winifred (Taylor Henderson) is turning 16 today and has refused to marry the boy chosen for her. As punishment, Reverand Traske (Tony Hale) has banished the Sanderson sisters from Salem.
They escape into the forbidden woods where they meet a witch who recognizes Winifred’s emerging powers, and, well, the rest is history.

Becca (Whitney Peak) is turning 16 today and is hoping to celebrate with both of her best friends, Izzy (Belissa Escobedo) and Cassie Traske (Lilia Buckingham).
Cassie is “busy” but Becca and Izzy visit Gilbert (Sam Richardson) in his store and he gives Becca a birthday present….a rattily made candle and some matches.
Arriving at their favorite spot in the forbidden woods to light the candle, there is a full moon….both Becca and Izzy are virgins….and……the candle has a black flame! Yikes!
Guess what happens?
Yup, the dastardly Sanderson sisters re-appear….and this time, they will attempt the unspeakable spell….the one that will make them the most powerful witches ever!
Only one problem, as Rumpelstiltskin (Once Upon a Time) says…..”all magic comes with a price, dearie”. Hehehe.

“Hocus Pocus 2” is a fun magical movie that is better than the original! There are some songs and one rousing “concert” with the great Bette Midler singing the lead. Wow! Oh yeah, as for witchcraft…..we know some of the rules and now we add the power of three (Charmed)…..
Stay ALL the way thru the credits to see……oh, it’s a surprise! 😉
