Movie Review: “Cha Cha Real Smooth”

Recent Tulane graduate, 22 year old, Andrew (Cooper Raiff), is struggling to find a job.

For now, he is living with his mother (Leslie Mann) her new husband (Brad Garrett) and his brother, David (Evan Assante).

Andrew and David are sharing a room.

Attending a rather boring Bar Mitzvah with David, Andrew decides to liven the party up by getting everyone on the dance floor (and convincing the DJ to play decent music!).

The Bar Mitzvah was a rousing success and Andrew found his calling!

Andrew also met an older woman, Domino (Dakota Johnson), and her 16 year old autistic daughter, Lola (Vanessa Burghardt).

It was love at first sight for all of them…..and……..

Oh, to see what happens you can watch this movie on Apple TV+.

“Cha Cha Real Smooth” is a dramedy about, well……life and love. Life is messy, love is messy and confusing, and all you can do is the best you can do while trying to be a kind person in the process. Unfortunately, the result is not always what you want or hope for, but, you muddle through.

This movie was written and directed by Cooper Raiff. Remember that name! 🙂
