“Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” Movie Review and Trailer

Brothers Greg (Zachary Gordon) and Rodrick Heffley (Devon Bostick) are not getting along, and now that mom, Susan (Rachael Harris) is writing a column in the local paper about raising kids…..mom wants the two boys to spend more time together.

Susan offers them fake “mom bucks” for every hour they are together. They can cash them in for real money anytime they feel the need.

Rodrick cashes his in instantly and then decides he can make a LOT of money scamming his mother…all he needs is a little bit of unwilling help from Greg.

When the parents go away for an overnight trip….Rodrick locks Greg and Rowley (Robert Capron) in the basement while the party goers trash the house.

The next morning, the brothers clean up really quickly before the parents get home and even change the bathroom door that was trashed…..then lied to mom.

Mom bucks!

Rodrick keeps doing stuff with Greg and lying to Mom…..

More Mom bucks!

Except…..when the brothers get caught, grounded, and Roderick is not allowed to play in the talent contest with his band, the Loded Dipers. And Greg must help Rowley with his magic show.

Ooops……
