Years Ago
The last words Guy (Ryan Reynolds) heard his parents tell him was to follow the morning sun to his “tommorrow”.
Now
Guy is still walking towards the morning sun when he meets another person!
Overjoyed he reaches out to this person, only to be almost killed…..but, Eep Crood (Emma Stone), holds onto the boulder and……they instantly fall in love!
Eep brings Guy back to the family and hopes that her father, Grug (Nic Cage), likes Guy and that he is accepted into the pack.
He is accepted (especially after he shows them……fire!), and, with a new family member in tow……the Croods continue their quest for a great place to live.
Arriving at a huge wall, they find a paradise filled with all the food they can eat!
Then they meet the family who farms this land….a modern family (i.e. not a cave family) who live in a tree…….the Bettermans (Phil (Peter Dinklage), Hope (Leslie Mann), and daughter Dawn (Kelly Marie Tran).
They all get along just fine.
With only one rule……
Do NOT eat the bananas!!!!
Then Grug…..eats the bananas…..and…..

“The Croods: A New Age” is a fun movie with lots of action, adventure, intrigue, and laugh out loud moments! Great cast and animation (Dreamworks?).
