“The Noel Diary” Movie Review

Jake Turner (Justin Hartley) is a very successful author.

On tour with his latest best selling book, Jake is informed by the executor of his estranged mother’s estate that his mom passed away last week and left everything to him.

Taking a break from the book tour, Jake drives home with his best friend, Ava (Skye), and finds out that his mother had become a hoarder and he has much more work to do than he expected.

As he cleans…he sees a woman standing across the street looking at the house.

Eventually, Rachel Campbell (Barrett Doss), comes in and tells him that she is looking for information on her birth mother (she was adopted) who she thinks worked for Jake’s parents as a Nanny taking care of Jake and, his now deceased, younger brother.

In the mess mom hoarded…Jake previously found a diary that he glanced at and put in his briefcase, then…..

“The Noel Diary” is an excellent Christmas romcom that is both funny and heartbreaking, but, ultimately, is a heartwarming story about……well…..life.
