
One day away from attending her senior prom (and hopefully being elected Prom Queen), young Stephanie (Angourie Rice) falls to the ground during a cheer and…..
20 years later
37 year old Stephanie (Rebel Wilson) wakes up in the hospital where she has been in a coma!
Yikes!
Problem is…..Stephanie’s mind is still 17 years old and she decides that she wants to pick up where she left off (in her mind, yesterday) and run for Prom Queen again.
Her best REAL friend, Martha (Mary Holland), is now school principal. Martha lets Steph finish high school and tries to teach her that the world has changed quite a bit while she was in the hospital, including: Her old boyfriend is now married to her worst enemy, and her other best REAL friend, Seth (Sam Richardson) is now the school librarian.
But being a stupid 17 year old (well….it’s true get over it….oh, you will in about 10 years) Steph has a lot to learn, and…..

“Senior Year” is a diverse, kinda goofy, comedy about….well……life and the meaning of true, REAL, friendship. Not for kids as it is a bit raunchy in parts. LOVE the homage(s) to Pitch Perfect!
