“Chemical Hearts” Movie Review and Trailer

Henry Page (Austin Abrams) is up for editor in chief of the school newspaper. It looks like he is going to get it.

Grace Town (Lili Reinhart) is new to this school and is also looking to get involved in the school newspaper, but, not as an editor.

Henry, Grace

The teacher, however, likes them as co-editors….sooooo, that is the arrangement, even though Grace tells Henry he will be in charge and she will just help.

Grace has a physical disability that was caused in a car accident, but, she also has psychological issues that don’t seem to be being addressed by her parents, and, it is those less visible scars that become the most disruptive to her life moving forward.

Grace’s dead boyfriend who she still loves with all her heart.

Their worlds spin out of control, until…….

Oh, to see what happens, you can stream this movie on Amazon Prime.

“Chemical Hearts” is a brutal coming of age movie depicting how the survivors of a car crash move on with their lives….or don’t. This movie hit home for us on many levels (just look at the ForCarol banner up top) and it was tough, at times, to get through the movie and our own painful memories as we approach the 10th anniversary (September 18) of Carol’s death and those of Chris, Kassy, and Bobby.
