Yesterday, 2/18/2021, was a historic day in the search for life on Mars as NASA’s newest Mars Rover, Perseverance, successfully landed on Mars after launching on July 30, 2020.
Here is the first picture sent back to NASA from Perseverance. I grabbed this from the NASA blog, here. Many more will follow from cameras with much higher resolution. GREAT stuff! :-)))))

Here is a very long video account from NASA on the events leading to the successful landing and NASA scientists / engineers talking to STEM/STEAM students. VERY COOL!
